I am very excited to have the opportunity to spend three weeks in Rwanda this summer! I have been to Mexico on trips numerous times, but an oversees trip has been something God has been pressing on my heart for a few years now. When the Rwanda trip came along, I knew it was what I was supposed to do and instead of debating it, like I usually do, I jumped in. It helps that I am going to experience this with one of my sisters, Katherine!
I am excited about Rwanda because of the opportunity to experience life with a people group that is so celebratory and holds nothing back in their worship. As a dancer, I am most looking forward to experiencing their worship and participating with them.
I am also looking forward to seeing and supporting Molly Black, as well as Brad and Chelsea, whom Bobby and I had in our home for a week last fall. It was great getting to know their hearts and I feel a deep connection to Rwanda because of them. As I go on this trip there is excitement, of course, but also some nerves.
Please be in prayer that I would have peace as I leave my business for three weeks, as well as my home and husband. I am a homebody and he is usually the one traveling the world, not me! I am anticipating with great hope that God is going to do mighty things those three weeks!
